I am currently studying in business. Next year
I will continue in the same way at the HEC. My ultimate goal would be to open
my architecture company. I want to build self - sufficient houses. I would then
also learn about the various green energy sources that are available and the
lifestyle that should be adopted to help the environment. These interests have
pushed me to read a very interesting text that describes the job of an
environmentalist. Here is the summary :
The biggest motivation of environmentalists is
to help the planet. No matter their salary, they study in order to find solutions
to reduce pollution we produce. They can work in different sectors such as
protection of the ozone layer or soil remediation. Some countries use their work
to develop new measures that reduce the negative effects of our activities.
They also educate people on environmental
issues and on the importance of their every move. However, the stubbornness of
environmentalists is often vain, because few people are making efforts. Yet
they are not discouraged because they love what they do and they like to fight
for something they hold so much : the environment.
Environmental companies are composed of
various employees who all have their specialty. They do not all need to have
specifically studied environment or science. Their only desire to help the
environment is required because each company must be diversified and have among
it organizers, reviewers, interviewers and many others.
Our environment globally has severely degraded
in recent decades. Several cities are left with a significant smog problem. The
consumption of raw materials such as oil and cutting our forests greatly harm our
planet. This issue is real and must be taken in hand by the leaders and people
must do their part too. If we do nothing, environmental disasters will just
continue to multiply.
The beginnings in the environmentalist
business are difficult, because despite all the work provided by the employees
and the number of hours invested, there is often few or no results about the
improvement of the environment. After five years, the workload is higher and
the employees have more responsibility. After ten years, employees are qualified
specialists and can start their own business.
